Renea in the mother of three premature babies, 28 weeker Andrew and 31 week twins Maggie and Cora. It was after Andrew’s birth that Renea got involved with the on-line group preemie-l and created the Preemie Purple Heart. It is Renea’s sincerest hope that the PPH bring comfort and a sense of unity to those in the preemie community. Renea is quick to point out that it is this community that has made the Preemie Purple Heart what it is today.
Renea has volunteered at the St. Joseph Hospital NICU and served as Mission Chair for the March of Dimes March for Babies twice and continues to support organizations supporting preemies and their families. Her biggest hope is that the need for the Preemie Purple Heart will disappear by eliminating prematuirity.
Renea lives in Denver Colorado. She holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Metropolitan State College of Denver and an MS in Management from Regis University.
